Terms of Service
Last updated: July 5, 2026
These terms govern your use of Cue the Clip (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Service. Cue the Clip is an independent project provided on an as-is basis.
What Cue the Clip is
Cue the Clip is a search tool that lets you find spoken phrases within publicly available creator content (such as YouTube and Kick videos and podcasts) and jump to the moment they were said. Search results link back to the original content on its host platform. The Service is currently offered as a free preview and may change or be discontinued at any time.
Relationship to third parties
Cue the Clip is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube, Kick, Google, any podcast host, or any creator whose content is searchable. All trademarks, video content, and transcripts remain the property of their respective owners. We index publicly available material to make it searchable and always link back to the original source.
Acceptable use
When using Cue the Clip, you agree not to:
- Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically harvest data from the Service;
- Circumvent rate limits, access controls, or security measures;
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or infringe the rights of others;
- Attempt to disrupt, overload, or reverse-engineer the Service;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We may limit, suspend, or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms or abuses the Service.
Intellectual property & takedowns
We respect the rights of content owners. If you are a rights holder (or their agent) and believe material surfaced by Cue the Clip infringes your copyright or should not be indexed, email [email protected] with:
- Identification of the work or content concerned (and a link to where it appears on the Service);
- Your contact information;
- A statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.
We will review valid requests promptly and remove or de-index the relevant content where appropriate.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that search results are accurate, complete, or continuously available, or that transcripts are free of errors. Automated transcription can and does contain mistakes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cue the Clip and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service. Your sole remedy if you are dissatisfied is to stop using the Service.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We’ll update the “last updated” date above when we do.
